Navigating through the system's registry files is not as easy as browsing through local folders on a standard explorer window. Part of the reason is the default registry editor, on which almost everything looks the same. Aezay Registry Commander offers an excellent alternative. Besides a better view of the registry files, the software provides a few more features than the standard registry editor. It allows you to perform more actions, locate certain types of registry entries and more.

Aezay Registry Commander is absolutely free. It can be used on all popular Windows platforms and it doesn't need to be installed. You only need to extract its components from a RAR archive and run an executable file.

You can explore your registry files in folders and sub-folders, like on a standard explorer window. Although the user interface doesn't display a navigation pane, exploring the registry's folders is still easy. You can find various options in a series of top menus, for jumping to the registry root list or switching between different root folders. You can also jump to a specific key instantly, by typing its value on a small window.

Registry files are color coded, to highlight strings, extended or binary values, resources and other file types. Besides editing registry files, the application allows you to copy, cut and paste them as well. Autorun values and ShellNew keys can be listed instantly, in the lower region of the interface, by selecting the appropriate options in the Show menu. Furthermore, registry files can be bookmarked, so you may find them faster when you need to.

Despite the lack of a navigation pane, Aezay Registry Commander is more comfortable and it gives you more possibilities, when compared to the operating system's default registry editor. The extra features it provides enable you to work much faster and easier with registry files.
